No sugar EVER starts now! + fitness challenge!

So a few weeks ago I decided that after my birthday I was going to stop consuming sugar from every source. Including fruit! I cut out potatoes and haven’t had one in a couple months now (yay!) The reason I cut potatoes and the reason I am cutting sugar is because these are two gigantic things that are too big a problem in my diet.

I eat paleo faithfully, I do NOT however, properly utilize the nutrition ratios to achieve my weight loss goals. Well that was until now. :) Sugar is not something that should be consumed all the blessed time. It is a treat, a once in a rare while thing, and I need to teach myself that and learn that discipline.

Do I recommend cutting things off cold turkey for everyone? Nope! That is just how I work! I have NEVER been able to achieve my goals by doing things partially or easing my way, I have to go 100% or nothing. My birthday isn’t til January 8th but you know what? I don’t want any more sugar. So I’m getting rid of it and I am not eating any more starting right now.

When will I eat potatoes/sugar again? Who knows, I certainly don’t. I just know that it won’t be for a good long time. Yay!

I have been doing for over a week a fitness challenge! Yay! The challenge is to basically build the habit/appetite for exercise. I have been doing squats every day. Week 1 I did 15 every day, week 2 I have been doing 16 every day, and this will continue adding at least 1 each week for at least a year. 

Super good, quick, and habit inducing! I figure after 3 months I’ll add another exercise to do in addition to squats and do the same +1 each week thing. To add motivation I am getting $5 for each week that I complete. :D Woohoo!

Month 7 of paleo~ My measurements are about the same (28.7” waist, 24” thighs, 34” bust, 12” bicep, 16” calves, 37” hips) Weight is at 163ibs. It has been a long time since I’ve posted a visual. So here. Woo.

Down to 163 ibs

Guess I should of mentioned that. @w@ Been at this exact weight for three weeks. OH PLATEAUS I HATE YOU SO! My measurements haven’t changed so no sense in adding them. 

I’ve started working out daily. I need to get back into the habit!

Super late status update: Month 6 of paleo

Pardon my hideous mirror and the blurry as all crap lower pic (made my arm look huuuge! D: )

  • Weight is now at 165ibs
  • bicep 12inch
  • waist 28.6inch
  • hips 37.5inch
  • thigh 24.5inch
  • calves 16inch


My goal is to get rid of the excess fat and tighten the skin. I am all mushy and loose and it doesn’t compliment me at all and is what I have the worst problem with when it comes to myself. I don’t like how my measurements don’t make sense when you look at my body. 

>w< I am so late for status update because I was at an obnoxiously long plateau. Just lingering at the 29inch waist/170ibs FOREVER. I am very happy about the decrease FINALLY. I can finally start to tell my fatty-apron is starting to lessen and my upper back flab is going down too. Thank goodness. My arms too! Though I still can’t tell visually just yet.

My least appreciated areas are my fatty apron, fatty wings, and back flab so it is cool to see some of them declining.

My names for things are so funny to me. I’m not even being mean to myself, it is just how I describe things. <3

Waist = 29, hips = 38, thighs = 25.5 

Hmmm I need to eat more fat to boost the fat loss. I’m kind of coasting at this point. Though I am very happy with being down to 29 :D If I can get to 28.whatever, I will be ecstatic. I have some bloat because I am on my period right now so that is cool that I am at 29inches while bloaty. :3

I AM A HAPPY CLAM.

I also have a YMCA membership now~ Yesterday I worked out for 2 hours and the day before 2 hours. Not a bad start after being a couch potato for a couple weeks huh? Hehe. I am so happy! My goal is to slim my arms, burn the love handles off, and slim the back. Booya!

A bit of a late visual update. Waist = 29.7 (starting 33.4) :D This is the 3 month and a half of paleo eating~ I started exercising so I am looking forward to that picture update next month. <3

Yay! Down another 2ibs!

And I lost the pesky half inch I gained over the holidays. Back to 30 inch waist and now at 171ibs!! :D Yay!
